Article VII, Paragraph A of our CCRs states that "Each owner shall be responsible for complying with the most current Colorado State and Durango Fire District wild fire mitigation guidance found online" at Colorado State's Protect Your Home and Property.

Evacuation Checklist
Free wildfire risk site assessment: sign up for free individual property assessment if you have questions about your property or have not done ANY fire mitigation in a long time.
In case of an evacuation our Local Fire Department would like to know some details about our neighborhood properties. Report these issues to our neighborhood ambassadors.

Out-of-state owners or those who are not home full time
Locations of homes with residents who have special needs (disabled, elderly, etc.)
Location of homes with pets
Location of homes who do not have a landline with their cell phone number

WAP wants homeowners to record the amount of hours spent doing fire mitigation work within the community. Report this information to neighborhood ambassadors.
